BDPPhoto Snowed In.

Filed under: Just for Fun, My Random Pictures — bdpphoto @ 7:13 pm

Indy has been hit with the 6th largest snowfall on record.  So I did what any other photographer does and went out and took pictures of it.  I didn’t go far because in 12 + inches of snow I’m pretty much about to fall over with every step.  So I took pictures of my car and the neighbor’s bird house.  Enjoy.

Hey Everyone!  I just wanted to tell you that 2009 is booking up fast and I am only accepting a few more weddings for this year.  So that means talk to me quick!  A few may ask why Ben?  Why would you not want as many weddings as possible.  The answer to that is that I want to give my current brides the best photographer I can be.

Having said that 2009 is wide open for portraits and senior pictures.  So if you and your family want some extra high quality killer pictures to send out for any occasion I have some pretty good availability.

I kind of took the speech bubble idea from a photographer Nate Kaiser huge inspiration and crazy good photographer in CA

The Aiello Family

Filed under: Just for Fun, Portraits — bdpphoto @ 4:04 am

Hey everyone!  The other day I had the great opportunity to hang out with some old high school friends and get them some family pictures!  The day went awesome.  They are such a nice family they even made dip for the event!  You’ll see why I call it an event after you hear how many people are in their immediate family….14!!!!!  That’s right!  With that many family members every event is one to remember.  It was like a party more than a photo shoot.  They are huge Ohio state fans (which kind of hurts being an IU grad, but what can you do haha)  Ok well let me introduce you to the Aiello family!

Did I say big Ohio state fans?  I meant HUGE!

I had to break em down to get some individual pictures.

Brother Aiello and Wifey

A little hotness after the family pictures.

Brother and Wife

Brother and Wife not to mention newly weds (p.s. I dig the tip-toes)

Brother and Sister.

And last but not least the people who started it all!  The parents.

Thank you guys for the dip!  I will have to come over next time you need pictures :)

2009 with a side of the Fite family.

Filed under: General, Just for Fun, Portraits — bdpphoto @ 8:52 pm

Hey Everybody!  It’s a new year and with the new year comes new resolutions.  I know that people hardly ever keep these but I feel like if I make mine attainable then it should be easier.  My first resolution was to blog every event/family/wedding that I do in 2009.  This is something I fell behind on in 2008 so I told myself that I would just sit down and do it every time I finished an event.  My second was to wake up every week day at 8 and eat breakfast so that I’m not as hungry during the day.  So far so good.  And my last one, which may be a little less attainable was to download less music from itunes than I did last year.  I spent way too much money on music so I’m going on a music diet.  Anyways, I’m going to start the new year with the Fite family.

The Fite family was so awesome.  I had a blast photographing them and basically spending the afternoon with them.  I can’t wait for you guys to tell me what you think about them.  I think they are some great kid portraits.  The newborn Christian is possibly one of the cutest babies in the world (at least top 10).  So here is the Fite family in all their glory.

She had such a funny attitude!  I mean look!

I think the subtitle for this one is “burp”

I’m not sure why but I dug this one.

His favorite football team this year was the Chargers so why not remember it.

With a little texture.

Her best friend Jameson stopped by to play some dress up.

Now here is teething Christian

He is going to be a ladies man with blue eyes like that.

I just want to thank them for being such a fun family and letting me come over to photograph their family.  I hope this is the first session of many.
