The Joyners

Filed under: Portraits — bdpphoto @ 6:05 pm

Happy Easter again.  I know it’s a little early but I wanted to post these pictures.  It’s going to be a week of posts so pay attention. haha  I have a wedding, portrait session, and a 50th anniversary party to post.  Anyways, back to the Joyners.  I’ve known Lelyne since 4h (yeah, yeah laugh all you want but I was a geranium selling fool) way back when I was in kindergarten.  Since then her and her family have been great friends ever since.  Well now she’s married to Caleb and they are a great couple that love the lord.  Plus they’re really really rediculously good looking!  They now have two kids Ady and Eden.  Let me introduce you to them…

Eden’s favorite thing is to play “Good Guys vs. Bad Guys”.  This is where you basically just try to chase the other person around and then chop of a hand or something.

This is how they are all the time!  haha It really makes my job easier.

The whole family…

So I saw on their Facebook that they had a bunny costume for Ady so I thought it would be some great pictures.  I really didn’t even think about Easter.  It worked fo sho.  Funniest pictures I’ve ever gotten.

She did not enjoy getting her pigtails out.  Understandable, but I’ve never had it happen so I don’t know.  Anyways, this picture lead toooooooo…..

this one! hahhahahahaha   Funniest bunny picture ever made.

She did become a happy bunny.   No worries.

So Eden saw that little Ady bunny was getting pictures so he turned into Eden Hulk!!!  Don’t make him Angry!!!  Plus this Hulk is full of Vitamins.

Ok, so I was flipping though the pictures and I saw these.  I always take a few pictures really quickly so sometimes it looks like the person is dancing.  Well this time I thought it would be a good Easter egg to give you a little something extra.  Click on the picture for a bonus treat.  Pump the volume and make sure it completely loads!!!!!!  Look for more posts this week.  Thanks  Joyners!!

I am excited for Easter!  This is ne of the only times you can find more egg shaped foods than actual eggs.  I have a few events that are coming soon so keep your eyes peeled.  Anyways, the real reason I’m posting is to tell everyone that Easter photos are made even better when you get them taken by me! haha

Meet Ady.  The family pictures are coming soon along with a few weddings.

Vegas Day #3 Last Full Day

Filed under: Just for Fun, My Random Pictures — bdpphoto @ 7:35 am

I walked 13.796 miles, or 29138 steps today!  It was supposed to be windy today but it wasn’t at all. We started the day by having breakfast at the Planet Hollywood buffet.  It was a little expensive but the food was incredible.  They had about 50 types of breakfast foods and it was quality not the typical blue eggs like from Vegas Vacation.  Anyways I walked around the shops here and bought some things and lived the dream. Anyways  a car show and trip to Target later I rode the New York New York roller coaster!  It made me wicket excited for Cedar Point (whenever I go next).  Anyways I went to Maggiano’s for dinner and then walked over to Caeser’s Palace and got GOLD BLING!  After that we went to Paris and got this killer chocolate mousse and rasberry filling.  To finish the night I found out that I CANNOT GAMBLE!!   I can’t even play the card game war!  I should just stick to picture taking and having fun.  I’m not sure why but I just don’t have any luck when it comes to cards.

Here’s a picture from the car show that we went to in our hotel Imperial Palace.

On the strip there are these people who hand out cards for a porn store and they always smack the card and try to hand it to you.  I am a huge fan of Elf so I thought I would go up to them and take the cards every time they handed them to me and say THANK YOU! Really loud.  Well it didn’t really make them mad they actually started handing me more.  I found out they get paid by the card.  So now I’m holding 300 cards with naked women on them! My dad is standing next to me.  Haha.   What a fun trip to Vegas.   I leave you with a picture from my phone of my bling and cake from Paris.

Vegas: Day #2 (Everybody at the Party Say, Day #2)

Filed under: Just for Fun, My Random Pictures — bdpphoto @ 8:43 am

Day number two is going to be named Hurricane Sizzler.  We started out by taking what seemed like a two mile walk from the Venitian to Circus Circus, which should only be seen at night.  During the day the casino/hotel looks like crappy town.  Check it.

After walking forever we took the new car out to Red Rock (Candy Mountain) Canyon for some pictures.  It was as windy as Chicago and not to mention pretty cold.  You can pull over and take pictures where ever you want.  Here are a few from the tour.

So for those of you who saw yesterday’s post you know I took a picture of a guy video taping the dam.  Well I’ve started a collection.  I call it….”Old People Site Seeing”  Enjoy the next installment.

So after the Red Rock Candy Mountain we went to lunch at none other than IN-N-OUT BURGER!!!  I am flipping pumped that I got to eat a 3×3 from there.  I always try to get a burger and fries every time I’m around them.  Indy needs something like it  I’m tired of the reign of Steak-n-Shake…bring in In-N-Out!

Then we went to Fremont Street…I tried to make my pictures different.  I think the colors are something that not too many people focus on, so that’s what I did.  Before we walked around and my dad played blackjack for a little bit he got his face made out of clay….there was an Asian man that would sculpt your face out of clay for $20.  It was really awesome!  Here are some pictures of the sculpting.

So I leave you with an awesome background for your computer.  I took this of the fake grass outside of the Wynn.  Check it.

I hope you enjoyed  this installment of Vegas vacation.  I’ll be posting tomorrow night so be sure to toon in for the third installment.  Funny things tomorrow.

Day 1 in Vegas

Filed under: Just for Fun, My Random Pictures — bdpphoto @ 6:28 am

Soooooo here’s the story.  My dad likes to buy things on Ebay, like a lot of stuff on Ebay.  I’m pretty sure that he has kept them in business.  My case is also the reason I’m in Vegas.  He has always wanted a Mercedes since he was a kid and so he decided to bid the minimum bid on this car he found.  So it turns out he won this car but the problem was he had to get it within 7 days of the date of purchase.  So here is the story of the first day….

Here is this car!

Just kiding.  Here is the real car.

That is the dude that picked us up at the airport and took us to the FAR east side of Vegas…turns out it’s kind of scary.  I think his name is Chip…we’ll call him Chip.

There’s me looking nervous because Chip is holding my camera.  After this we took the car to the Hoover Dam!   The dam jokes never get old.  Here they come.

So you would think that would be a duh moment but apparently someone has taken their pet on top of the dam.

I thought this guy was awesome.  He is Russian and video taped basically dam nothingness for a good 6 or 7 minutes.  I wonder what he’s going to do with all of that dam footage.

My dad driving back from the dam, happy about his new car.

So we’re driving back to our hotel and I see this!!!  Look at it!  B.P.O.E. !  My name (for those of you who don’t know) is Ben Poenisch.  BPOE!    So for the rest of my day my dad and I walked around the strip to see all of the outsides of the Casinos.  I saw the Belagio fountain and tried to figure out where they filmed Oceans 11.  I leave today’s post with a picture of a really flipping nice car outside on the strip.

Night all tune in tomorrow for day 2 adventures.
